Review by hotel critic
Hotel Le Lion D'Or Et Restaurant La Table Du Lion was a delightful gem nestled in the heart of Bayeux. the staff was warm and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. the charming ambience of the lounge area was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the historic town. the convenience of being able to walk to all the major sites, including the Bayeux Tapestry and the Cathédrale Notre Dame, made our exploration of the town effortless. One highlight of our stay was dining at La Table Du Lion, where we indulged in regional cuisine masterfully prepared by chef Thomas Busnoult. the wine list and occasional jazz dinners added an extra touch of sophistication to our evening. the friendly staff, convenient location, and charming atmosphere made it a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the rich history and culture of Bayeux.
